GYRO SHOT®
Using the latest MEMS nanotechnology, the Gyro Shot® uses a number of MEMS gyros to map the trajectory of your borehole without requiring a magnetic azimuth reference. This means that you can survey holes inside the rods or in magnetic ground.
As with the MI3, data are stored within the instrument and are downloaded from the instrument when it returns to the surface. Gyro Shot® surveys can be run on a wireline/slickline or while rods are being pulled.

MI3 Multishot
The MI3 is a magnetic multishot deviation tool. Azimuth readings are derived from the Earth’s magnetic field. Data are stored on-board and are displayed at the rig as soon as the instrument is recovered from the hole.
The MI3 can be used through-the-bit in wireline coring operations, in open holes, or in sections of non-magnetic drill rod. The instrument is suitable for use in non-magnetic ground or where magnetic interference is sporadic.
