Software developer
Icefield Tools is looking for a software developer to join our team. This position is open to summer students and to those seeking permanent employment.
Coding is done in C, C++, and C#, depending on the platform. Software is produced for embedded microprocessors, PDAs, and Windows application software. The successful applicant would be expected to have facility in programming for C, and its brethren, using a variety of IDE's. We are looking for someone who takes care in their work, can help draft specifications, and can document and test their code effectively.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Degree or studying computer science at college or university level.
- Strong English ability.
- Job location: Whitehorse, Yukon.
Sales representative (mining/geotechnical) - Vancouver
We are looking for a sales representative based in the Vancouver area. The ideal candidate will have experience in mineral exploration, with a background in geology and/or exploration drilling.
Remuneration will be based on a combination of base salary and commission. The position entails attending trade shows, following up on sales leads, making cold calls based on information gleaned from industry publications and press releases, and demonstrating equipment at customer premises.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Background in mineral exploration, geology, and/or exploration drilling.
- Enthusiasm, and good customer relation skills.
- Organized and self-motivated.
- Strong facility in English; facility in French an asset.
- Job location: Vancouver, British Columbia.
Sales representative (petroleum) - Calgary/Edmonton
We are looking for a sales representative based in the Calgary/Edmonton area. The ideal candidate will have experience in oil&gas borehole logging, exploration, and/or production.
Remuneration will be based on a combination of base salary and commission. The position entails attending trade shows, following up on sales leads, making cold calls based on information gleaned from industry publications and press releases, and demonstrating equipment at customer premises.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Background in oil&gas borehole logging, exploration, and/or production.
- Enthusiasm, and good customer relation skills.
- Organized and self-motivated.
- Strong facility in English; facility in Spanish an asset.
- Job location: Calgary/Edmonton area, Alberta.
